My Reflection: I was learning to add two digit numbers using place value. In this activity I had to add numbers and equal them to find out how much a dog will cost. It will cost $143. I found this easy because I already knew what the answer was because I worked it out in my head first. My next steps are to keep working at using this strategy.

Using a place value strategy
My Reflection: I was learning to add two digit numbers using place value. In this activity I had to add numbers and equal them to find out how much a dog will cost. It will cost $143. Christian you have done a great job on using a place value strategy! Remember that good mathematicians check their work - make sure you check over each step of your working after you have solved a problem to check that you haven't made a mistake. Keep up the great work!
